Our sweet boy...

Just wanted to post a few pictures from this last week and past weekend with Landon and his grandparents visiting. We bought him a pool and he was so happy until he took a quick dive out of the boat and his vest/suit didn't keep his head from going under. Of course we were all there and he was picked up very quickly but that was it for the day for him! Now he says "pool, nose, papa!" since papa saved him. He is ready to start learning to swim again as soon as the cold front leaves and it warms up a bit again. Papa also built him the cutest stool that he just adores and has figured out how to drag it around to reach the light switches. He thinks that is pretty darn cool too. Thanks Papa for the wonderful stool! It is a stool that converts to a chair and looks like a turtle. We all love it actually.
Oh, and Landon has finally grown out of most of his 6-9 months clothes and his 12 mo are fitting really well now. He is growing for sure. Of course th holloween costume I got him is 9 months and fits about perfect but i think it may be running just a little big. I thought he was going to be in 6-9 mo forever! Most of the clothes we bought him were 18mo and up since he was 20 months when we days after we picked him up and we were told that the clothes we sent were too small and they were 12 mo. Needless to say now it is gettign alittle colder and I am going to have to go shoppping fo rhim sicne all his witner clothes are 24 mo or 2T's. Luckily I had a couple outfits of 12mo at all. You can not tell in any of the photos, but in person he is so tiny and everyoen that meets him is surprised how small he is, but he is gorwing!!!!
Landon's x-rays came back for his ankle, which he has had a small lump on that has been growing. It has recently started bothering him when his shoes are on or you touch it, so was a concern. It feels cartilage like but the Dr says that it is a cyst and he needs surgery since it is getting bigger, causing pain, and is being agrivated by his shoes. We are not thrilled with the news but it should just be a minor surgery. Of course he also will have his "other" surgery too. The nurse from urology called and said that they think it will be either November 7th or Novemeber 21. We should hear back this week. Poor little guy. I swear he sounds like he is much unhealthier than he is! I swear! He had one cold/pneumonia scare that he founght for several weeks but he had gone to 2 birthday parties and most of the kids had it, so of course it was a bad one and he got it. Other than that, the breath holding, and this unfortunate cyst, he is super healthy :) You would never know any of it by his actions either. He handles everything in stride and amazes us everyday.

I'm sorry to hear about Landon's needing surgery. Poor little guy. He really is a cutie. Those photos are priceless (I really like the ones of him in front of the stove.)
Wow,
Landon has really grown since the last time I checked your blog...what a handsome guy! Hopefully we can plan a Florida gathering soon.
Take care,
