Fort Lauderdale
We left on Thursday and headed to Fort Lauderdale with my mom, sister and Landon, for my best friends wedding. Greg had to work in Nebraska a day before, unfortunetly. Landon did really well with me leaving him several times and my sister was even able to get him to sleep without me several times. This is amazing since no one has been able to do this aside of Greg the first couple months Landon was home and from then on it has been "I" and ony "I". Any time that anyone watched him he woud stay awake until I came home. Also I usually have to sneak out once he gets busy to keep it form being a scene of seperation anxiety. He told me bye, played, and went to bed! Wow he is really growing up. What a transformation in the past year. We recently visted GA and he didnt cry at all on the way there or the way home about hours. This trip he did equally as well without crying there or home again. Those that have followed our story probably remember the car issues we have continually had with Landon and any trip longer than 30 minutes to an hour, he would turn to breathholding crying fits that were horrid! He walked on the beach sand too!!! I am telling you he amazes me all the time you just never know what surprise you will get. Of courswe you all may also remeber how muchhe hated to touch any kind of ground even with shoes in the begining. He began walking with shoes shortly after, then on the side walk without shoes, then the gras without shoes but has continued to hate beach sand. This was his 3rd trip to the beach and he walked like a pro. Hey, now all we have to do is battle that potty training he is denying but past ready and abe to do, and that binky that tens to be needed when he gets tired or sick! Ah, boys can be so stubborn. That sok Ill take them as they come as there have been aot of changes this past year and he is doing very well emotionally.
Trip to GA...
We took a trip to GA recently to visit Greg's family. First we went to Augusta to see his Uncle (for his birhtday), aunt, and cousins. Landon never cried on the way to Melrose to Nana and Papa's house, didnt cry the entire drive to Ga or the entire way home! He also didnt cry or whine on the way to his Gregs Granny's house another 2 hours away! It was a true blessing. It was wonderful to see all the family with Landon. Many of them for the first time. He was hapy to see Gregs uncle again and named had us all in stitches calling him Uncle Marker the entire time. It was a fun trip and Landon was the ham he alwas is!

Wow he sure has come a long way. I remember the issues you had with the car when he first came home. He takes such great pictures. I love the "thumbs up" picture!!
It's great to hear how well Landon is doing! You must be so happy he's grown out of crying in the car. :) He is such a cutie.
