RE-ADOPTION DAY!!!!

Yesterday, December 6th, was Landon's re-adoption hearing. It was very exciting to know that his adoption is now seen and recognized as finale in all 50 states. Also he will be known legally as Landon Gregory Fang Hughes on his new birth certificate that we will be receiving in about 3 weeks. We will also need to apply for his COC (Certificate of Citizenship) and then his Social Security card. The hearing was in a small room at the courthouse. The judge asked a few questions, our attoreny spoke & asked a few questions, then explained a few things, and we took a photo and that was it. Our attorney, Paul Consbruck, brought his wife Stephanie and daughter, Casey, along. Casey and Landon are exactly 12 days apart. Casey is from China and they were just too cute entertaining all the courthouse. People gathered around in the aww of them both. They are alot alike in personality and size. We were asked by several people if they were twins. It made for an even better day and how exciting for me to see my husband carrying Landon on one side and a little girl on the other. My heart smiled! We are trully blessed by God and we can't wait to ventrue through the process again. Greg has been looking up all the places to visit that we missed this year when Landon was ill on our arrival. We are hoping to stay there a full week or more this time. We shall see.
